The Cred has filed for Chapter 11, but this has been largely ignored by the market. Once again, this goes to show just how strong the buy sentiment is right now.

The lesson

I believe there is a lesson to be learned from this. In my long-term decentralised finance plan, I mentioned that it brings back both the power and the responsibility to the investor (taking it away from banks, brokers, and advisers). But with that responsibility, you need to double check every fact stemming from the product seller (your investment counterpart).

Especially when it comes to interest rate products, you have a first simple measurement (the rate), which indicates just how risky your investment is. I am sure you all remember the crazy high yields in the farming sector a few months ago.
