    Der Ausdruck entstand in Online-Communities und sozialen Netzwerken als Gegenpol zu „Paper Hands“. Während Paper Hands für impulsive Verkäufe stehen, symbolisieren Diamond Hands Standhaftigkeit und Belastbarkeit – vergleichbar mit der Härte von Diamanten.
