Aaron Wright has presented DeFi to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in a very straightforward way.
This is the way forward, ensuring that regulators have the chance (note: I am not saying to catch up) of staying informed in the most professional way. The presentation is roughly 60 pages long, and I can recommend it to everyone who is really interested in decentralised finance. Also, if you want to understand and build bridges between traditional and decentralised finance.
Aaron walks you through the main blocks (or sectors) of the DeFi ecosystem. He also mentions a few protocols for each sector, so you can start googling them right away, and dive straight into the topic.
Last but not least, he outlines the regulatory framework, which will come into play if the DeFi sector wants to grow beyond being a niche market.
